By downloading, installing, or using Molufu ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Molufu records voice memos on a Wear OS watch, transfers them to your phone, transcribes them via the Gemini API using your own API key, and saves the result as Markdown to a location you choose. The developer does not operate any server.
The App uses your own Gemini API key. You are responsible for obtaining the key, for any usage and costs associated with it, and for complying with Google's terms for the Gemini API. Transcription is provided by Google, and the developer is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content handling of that third-party service.
All recordings and notes you create are stored on your device and in the save location you choose. You retain all rights to your content. The developer does not collect, transmit, or store your content on any server.
You may use the App for personal purposes. The App is a personal-memo tool and is not intended for protected health information (PHI) or any medical use.
You agree not to:
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by the developer and protected by intellectual property laws. The Molufu name, logo, and associated trademarks are the property of the developer.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. Transcription accuracy depends on the third-party Gemini API, audio quality, and other factors, and is not guaranteed.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes are reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
