Parpot is designed with privacy as a core principle. The App operates entirely offline and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Your data stays on your device.
We do NOT collect:
All data created within the App (projects, code snippets, settings) is stored locally on your device using the app's sandboxed storage. This data is not accessible to other apps and is not transmitted to any server.
The App requests camera and photo library permissions for the following purposes:
All image processing (OCR) is performed locally using the device's built-in Vision framework. No images or recognized text are sent to external services.
The WiFi transfer feature creates a temporary local web server on your device within your local network. Data is transferred directly between your device and your computer over your local WiFi network. No data passes through external servers. The server is active only while the transfer screen is open.
Text-to-speech functionality uses the device's built-in speech synthesis engine. No text is sent to external servers for speech processing. All speech synthesis occurs on-device.
Parpot does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App does not contain ads and does not share data with third parties.

The App does not knowingly collect any information from children. Since no personal data is collected from any user, the App is safe for users of all ages.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
